DESIGN ALTER EGO...

i took the open university and took the design alter ego test and i am...

InDesign and illustrator...

I have used illustrator and indesign before but only briefly so for the next few weeks i will be getting to know the programs better so i can use them easier,

Some of the skills i have learned in illustrator are;

• To use the pen tool properly.
• How layers work and how to arrange them from back to front.
• Where to find the pantones.
• How to make line that i draw with the pen tool looks smooth.
• By holding the shift key when using the pen tool can add a point and holding the alt key you can get rid of a point.
• How to change the brush size and look from pencil to paint brush.
• How to merge brush strokes to create a solid shape. 

 

Some of the skills i learned in InDesign are;

• How to set up a double page spread for a magazine.
• How to place an image correctly.
• How to the size of an image or crop an image.
• How to create different numbers of columns.
• How to change the type face of a certain text.
• How text wrap round an image.
